Mars Needs Guitars is the second album from Hoodoo Gurus.

Released in 1985 and reaching ARIA #5 (and #140 in the US), the album boasts the singles Bittersweet, Like Wow-Wipeout, Death Defying, Poison Pen – and enjoys triple platinum accreditation.
The album was included in the 100 Greatest Australian Albums Of All Time in 2010.

This reissue adds five tracks in addition to the original album and features liner notes from Wally Kempton of The Meanies.
